Hero Xoom 110 Review 2026 – Best 110cc Scooter for Teens?

    support@wheelxpress.comBy support@wheelxpress.comJuly 4, 2026Updated:July 4, 2026No Comments3 Mins Read

The Hero Xoom 110 is Hero MotoCorp’s direct assault on the TVS NTorq 125’s dominance among young urban riders — but at a 110cc price point. With connected features via Hero Connect, a full-digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth app connectivity, and a sporty design with matte colour options, the Xoom 110 targets the 18–25 urban demographic who wants a stylish, connected scooter without the 125cc price premium. After 6 months of testing across urban conditions, here’s our verdict.

    Key Specifications

    Specification Details
    Engine 110.9cc, Single-cylinder, Air-cooled, FI
    Max Power 7.91 PS @ 8,000 rpm
    Max Torque 8.7 Nm @ 6,000 rpm
    Claimed Mileage 58 km/l
    Kerb Weight 101 kg
    Seat Height 780 mm
    Fuel Tank 5.2 litres
    Starting Price ₹75,500 (ex-showroom)

    Design & Styling

The Hero Xoom 110’s sporty design includes a split LED headlamp, an aggressive front apron, side panel air scoops, a sporty single-piece seat, and a raised rear cowl. The Matte Shield Blue and Radiant Red with matte graphics are genuinely attractive. The design ambition clearly targets NTorq buyers — it looks sportier than any 110cc scooter competitor and punches above its displacement class in visual terms.

    Engine & Performance

The 110.9cc FI engine delivers 7.91 PS and 8.7 Nm — adequate for urban use, if less exciting than the NTorq’s 9.38 PS. Top speed: approximately 80 km/h. The FI ensures consistent cold-start performance. The engine character is smooth and understated — it’s the most refined 110cc FI scooter from Hero, which historically has prioritised reliability over excitement.

    Mileage & Fuel Economy

    Real-world: city 50–55 km/l; highway 56–60 km/l; overall 53 km/l. The 5.2L tank provides approximately 270–310 km per fill. Monthly fuel costs for a 40 km/day commuter: approximately ₹1,050–1,200.

    Features & Technology

Hero Connect Bluetooth app: call and SMS alerts, navigation cues, trip data, and vehicle health monitoring. Full-digital instrument console. USB type-A charging port. LED headlamp with DRL. i3S idle start-stop system (saves fuel in heavy city traffic). The feature package is genuine and competitive — the idle stop system is particularly useful for Mumbai and Delhi traffic.

    Ride Quality & Handling

At 101 kg, the Xoom 110 is the lightest scooter in this comparison — genuinely easy to manoeuvre in tight urban spaces. The suspension provides comfortable city ride quality. The 780 mm seat height is accessible. Front disc brake with CBS provides confident stopping.

    Safety

Front disc brake with CBS standard. Side stand engine cut-off. LED lighting for improved visibility. i3S engine cut in stationary traffic reduces fuel consumption and emissions.

    Price & Variants

    • Drum: ₹75,500
    • Disc: ₹82,000

    Pros and Cons

    Pros Cons
Lightest scooter tested (101 kg) Less powerful than NTorq 125 at a similar price
Hero Connect Bluetooth at entry price 80 km/h top speed limited vs 125cc rivals
Hero’s service network — best in India Real-world economy (53 km/l) below Activa
i3S idle stop — fuel saving in heavy traffic 110cc perception — less premium than 125cc in resale
Sporty design at accessible price 5.2L tank — average range per fill

    Verdict

The Hero Xoom 110 is the best 110cc sporty scooter in India for young urban buyers who want connected features, Hero’s service reliability, and sporty styling at under ₹85,000. It’s not a NTorq rival in performance, but it offers comparable connectivity and design at meaningfully lower cost of ownership. For buyers whose budget constrains them to under ₹85,000 but who want more than an Activa’s conservative package, the Xoom 110 is the clear choice. Rating: 8.2/10.
